- 6 apples - peeled, cored and food processed (but don’t turn them into mush)
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (or to taste)
- honey (to taste; depends on how sweet the apples are)
- 1/3 cup white wine (or so)
- a few squirts of lemon juice (esp. if apples are on the sweet side)
