Drunken Noodle

  • 1/3 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Fish Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons lemon juice (we thought we had a lime… oops!)
  • 1 Tablespoon Sambol
  • 5 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 Can Baby Corns
  • 2 Eggs
  • Tomatoes
  • other veggies (boc choy, carrots)
  • 5? Servings Rice Noodles (we didn’t have the wide ones)
  • Basil
  • Green Onion

Changes:

  • We put a decent amount of green onion in with the garlic, instead of using shallots.
  • We cut the sugar in half just to try it, and the sauce came out somewhat too sour. Substituting lemon for lime might also have contributed to the problem. Next time: use lime, and reduce amount if reducing sugar.
  • We cut chilies by a lot, since Tim doesn’t like spicy food.
