Drunken Noodle
- 1/3 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Fish Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons lemon juice (we thought we had a lime… oops!)
- 1 Tablespoon Sambol
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 1 lb shrimp
- 1 Can Baby Corns
- 2 Eggs
- Tomatoes
- other veggies (boc choy, carrots)
- 5? Servings Rice Noodles (we didn’t have the wide ones)
- Basil
- Green Onion
Changes:
- We put a decent amount of green onion in with the garlic, instead of using shallots.
- We cut the sugar in half just to try it, and the sauce came out somewhat too sour. Substituting lemon for lime might also have contributed to the problem. Next time: use lime, and reduce amount if reducing sugar.
- We cut chilies by a lot, since Tim doesn’t like spicy food.
